Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Λουκά

Ο Ευαγγελιστής Λουκάς είναι ο πολιούχος της Λαμίας. Στο ομώνυμο ύψωμα με το πυκνό αλσύλλιο είναι κτισμένη μικρή εκκλησία αφιερωμένη στον Ευαγγελιστή, που χρονολογείται στα 1910, καθώς και μεγαλύτερη νεωτερική εκκλησία. Ενώ η γιορτή του στις 18 Οκτωβρίου συνδέεται και με τους εορτασμούς για την απελευθέρωση της πόλης από την ναζιστική κατοχή το 1944, προσδίδοντάς τους και πνευματική διάσταση.

Ι.Ν. Αγίου Γεωργίου (Υπάτη)

Ο Άγιος Ηρωδίων ήταν ένας από τους 70 Αποστόλους και πρώτος Επίσκοπος Νέων Πατρών (Υπάτης). Στο χώρο του Γυμνασίου της Υπάτης εντοπίστηκαν κατάλοιπα του αρχικού ναού του Αγίου Ηρωδίωνα, τα οποία κατέγραψε ο Γ. Λαμπάκης σε επίσκεψή του εκεί το 1896. Λίγα χρόνια αργότερα, καθώς τα κατάλοιπα της αρχικής αυτής βασιλικής, χρονολογούμενης από τον Δ. Πάλλα τον 7ο μ.Χ. αιώνα, είχαν καταστραφεί κατά την ανέγερση του Γυμνασίου, ανοικοδομείται νέος ναός αφιερωμένος στον Άγιο Ηρωδίωνα, στο κοιμητήριο του χωριού. Την εικόνα του Αγίου, ο Λαμπάκης την εντόπισε στην εκκλησία του Αγίου Γεωργίου. Ο Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Γεωργίου αποτελεί τον κεντρικό Μητροπολιτικό Ναό και την πρώτη ενορία της ιστορικής και μαρτυρικής κωμόπολης της Υπάτης στη Φθιώτιδα.

Η Ιερά Μονή Αγάθωνος είναι ένα ιστορικό μοναστήρι του 14ου–15ου αιώνα, χτισμένο στις πλαγιά του όρους Οίτη. Ιδρύθηκε από τον Όσιο Αγάθωνα και είναι αφιερωμένη στην Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου.
