Holy Monastery of Panagia Damasta
The Holy Monastery of the Nativity of the Theotokos of Damasta is located at the foothills of Mount Kallidromo. It is a women’s monastery, most likely founded in the 17th century. The wall paintings of the catholicon were completed in 1818 with the support/contribution of the fighter Ioannis Dyovouniotis, according to the inscription above the entrance. The monastery was burned by the Ottomans/Turks shortly before the Revolution, while by March 1821 its cells had been repaired. During the Revolution, and especially after the Battle of Alamana, it suffered damage and looting. It was taken apart in 1833 by the relevant decree of King Otto and was re-established in 1934.

The Holy Monastery of the Holy Unmercenaries of Atalanti is a pilgrimage site at the foot of Mount Chlomo. The monastery was already operating in the 16th century. However, judging from the masonry style of the catholicon, which is built with large limestone blocks as well as built-in spolia, it can be concluded that the monastery was probably considerably older, and possibly built on the site of an earlier shrine/temple.

Holy Monastery of Panagia Eleousa of Xyniada
The Holy Monastery of Panagia of Eleousa Xyniada is a monastery founded in the 1960s following the discovery of the miracle working icon. This icon used to appear in the form of a woman dressed in black to the future abbot, Athanasios, for years. Athanasios toured Fthiotis, trying to raise funds for the monastery construction. When he finally succeeded, he built the catholicon of the monastery, where he himself stayed and became a monk.

Holy Monastery of St. Athanasios, Ombriaki
The Holy Monastery of Agios Athanasios of Omvriaki is located approximately 6 km from Domokos, near the prominent village of Omvriaki. According to the archaeologist N.I. Giannopoulos, it was initially established in 1565 by Saint Athanasios the Meteorite as a simple skete. The monastery underwent phases of expansion in 1619 and 1750. Giannopoulos recorded these data from the monastery's archives just two days before the complex was torched during the Greco-Turkish War of 1897. The catholicon features frescoes by the hagiographers Georgios, Georgios, and Ioannis from Mavrilo. The monastery houses numerous holy relics, preserved in three reliquaries.
