Ιερά Μονή Παναγίας Δαμάστας

Η Ιερά Μονή Γενεσίου Θεοτόκου Δαμάστας βρίσκεται στις υπώρειες του όρους Καλλίδρομο. Είναι γυναικεία μονή, που ιδρύθηκε πιθανότατα τον 17ο αιώνα. Η εικονογράφηση του καθολικού έγινε το 1818 με τη συνδρομή του αγωνιστή Ιωάννη Δυοβουνιώτη σύμφωνα με την επιγραφή άνωθεν της εισόδου. Η μονή κάηκε από τους Τούρκους λίγο πριν την Επανάσταση, ενώ τον Μάρτιο του 1821 είχαν επισκευαστεί τα κελλιά της. Κατά την Επανάσταση, και ειδικά μετά τη μάχη της Αλαμάνας, υπέστη φθορές και λεηλασίες. Διαλύθηκε το 1833 με σχετικό διάταγμα του Όθωνα και επανασυστήθηκε το 1934.

Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Λουκά

Ο Ευαγγελιστής Λουκάς είναι ο πολιούχος της Λαμίας. Στο ομώνυμο ύψωμα με το πυκνό αλσύλλιο είναι κτισμένη μικρή εκκλησία αφιερωμένη στον Ευαγγελιστή, που χρονολογείται στα 1910, καθώς και μεγαλύτερη νεωτερική εκκλησία. Ενώ η γιορτή του στις 18 Οκτωβρίου συνδέεται και με τους εορτασμούς για την απελευθέρωση της πόλης από την ναζιστική κατοχή το 1944, προσδίδοντάς τους και πνευματική διάσταση.

Ιερά Μονή Παναγίας Ελεούσας Ξυνιάδος

Η Ι.Μ. Παναγίας Ελεούσας Ξυνιάδος είναι μονή που δημιουργήθηκε τη δεκαετία του 1960 μετά την ανεύρεση της θαυματουργής εικόνας, η οποία εμφανιζόταν για χρόνια, με τη μορφή μαυροφόρας γυναίκας, στον μετέπειτα ηγούμενο Αθανάσιο. Ο Αθανάσιος περιόδευσε στη Φθιώτιδα προσπαθώντας να συγκεντρώσει ποσό για την ανέγερση ναού. Όταν τελικά το κατόρθωσε, έκτισε το καθολικό της μονής, στην οποία και εμόνασε ο ίδιος.

Ιερά Μονή Αγίου Αθανασίου Ομβριακής

Η Ι.Μ. Αγίου Αθανασίου Ομβριακής απέχει περίπου 6 χλμ. από τον Δομοκό και βρίσκεται κοντά στο κεφαλοχώρι της Ομβριακής. Σύμφωνα με τον αρχαιολόγο Ν.Ι. Γιαννόπουλο, κτίστηκε αρχικά από τον Άγιο Αθανάσιο τον Μετεωρίτη το 1565, ως απλή σκήτη. Γνώρισε φάσεις επέκτασης το 1619 και το 1750. Ο Γιαννόπουλος κατέγραψε τα στοιχεία αυτά από έγγραφα της Μονής, δυο μόλις μέρες πριν την πυρπόληση της μονής κατά τη διάρκεια του ελληνοτουρκικού πολέμου του 1897. Το καθολικό φέρει τοιχογραφίες των αγιογράφων Γεωργίου, Γεωργίου και Ιωάννου από το Μαυρίλο. Η μονή φιλοξενεί πολλά άγια λείψανα σε τρεις λειψανοθήκες.
